Ben Parker is a British director and screenwriter based in London. His latest feature is the WWII thriller BURIAL, which sees Soviet Jewish intelligence officer, Brana Vasilyeva traffick Hitler’s remains out of Berlin and fight to prevent them from falling into the hands of those who would bury the truth of his death. Altitude sold the film, with IFC Midnight releasing theatrically in US and 101 in the UK, rolling out on Shudder in most other territories. His debut feature, THE CHAMBER, was a claustrophobic submarine thriller about a mission to retrieve a US drone from North Korean waters that goes horribly wrong. Theatrically released in the UK by Studiocanal and Cinedigm in the US, it’s now on Amazon Freevee. Ben studied film in Leeds and had a 10-year career in film advertising before directing his 2011 short, SHIFTER (‘Superbly crafted with a killer twist’ Screen Daily) which played Austin’s Fantastic Fest, and others on the short film circuit. Ben also wrote the original script to Travis Stevens’s, GIRL ON THE THIRD FLOOR and is currently in development on a number of other projects.
